Michael Dell is an American entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist, and the founder of Dell Technologies, one of the world's leading technology companies.

He was born on February 23, 1965 in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied computer science and business. He dropped out of college in 1984 to pursue his dream of starting a computer company. 

In 1984, Dell founded PC's Limited, a company that sold custom-built computers directly to customers. The company quickly grew and was renamed Dell Computer Corporation in 1987. Dell's innovative business model of selling computers directly to customers was revolutionary at the time and helped the company become one of the largest computer companies in the world.
